Dumb Moment of the Day

I forgot my name. I’m not even going to go into a long witty preamble. I straight up forgot my name.
Someone asked me and I was like, ‘oh, I don’t have my name tag’. Looked down. 

Tag was there. 

And even if I don’t have the tag, do I need a tag to answer the question? Apparently so. 

So, then I read my name off the tag like I’d never heard it before.  Seriously, it was like, ‘s…n…ark?’ In my defense, the name I go by and the name I’m known by are occasionally different, but truly, there’s no excuse. I’ve given myself so many different names over the years that I should be able to parrot them back at any time.

I used to think I’d make a kick ass super spy hero agent, but clearly not. 

When prompted for my last name, that was a struggle as well. 

It was really hot at the time, so maybe I was just flustered but damn that was a low moment even for me.

    1. I wish it was exciting but I’m an awkward girl (do I sound like a guy? 😂) who was collecting boring admin stuff at work. Luckily, the person I’m talking to isn’t my manager. I think they’d be concerned that I can’t recall my own name 😂😂😂

        1. LOL, don’t worry, it’s an easy mistake to make if you’re not a Supernatural fan (that’s Jensen Ackles with the cap and Jared Padalecki in the background, initially this was just an SPN blog lol). I should really change it one of these days but I’m laaaazy 😂😂

    1. We do! I had another moment in the week where I struggled to use a keyboard in public. The worker was just looking at me like, ‘did this bish even go to school’ as I explained that I ‘wasn’t used’ to the keyboard, lol.
